A show primarily aimed at children, o papel do dinheiro told with bills. A child accompanies his uncle on a business trip around the world. The small pieces of paper depict many places, habits, characters; and they also show what can go wrong if you lose sight of the role of money.
As the author of the text, Miguel Rocha, explains, “this journey begins with a 20 escudo bill, a green and very soft Saint Anthony, in a story from the narrator’s childhood in which the note is literally dissected into its components. We set off on a 500 escudo caravel. We arrive in China, where we will meet Kublai Khan and the origin of flying paper. We leave riding a dragon, on a journey that will range from the frozen deserts to the south sea. We will visit palaces, forests, penguins and, naturally, the Queen of England. The details of each bill offer clues to new journeys, other stories and odd discoveries. With banknotes losing visibility with each passing day, why not do something fun with them?”
